Hawaii

On April 13th, 2022 at what felt like a very early 3:00 am, I woke up to head to the airport for what I knew was going to be a long flight. I don’t have any photos from the first day as I was quite sleep deprived at the time. But the flight and trip through the airport was quite uneventful. Just an honestly long flight. Grand total of around 9 hours not including a 4 hour layover in Sacramento. But in the last 10 minutes of the flight, I was treated to the absolutely stunning visage of Maui, Hawaii.

I can’t honestly describe how stunning Hawaii is. It’s such a unique ecosystem, and such a beautiful place. I am Truly happy that I was able to visit. Now, because it was a true vacation, I didn’t schedule any photoshoots for the trip. So, this post is going to have landscape and some street photography, which I know is a little different than my usual style. I hope you enjoy the photos all the same.

I have to say that one of my favorite parts of the entire trip was the Road to Hana. I say that with a caveat though. The Road to Hana is not for the faint of heart, A good portion of it is a single lane road alongside a cliff as you can see in one of the photos I’ve added below (Let me know if you can guess where the road is). However, for me it was worth every moment. Each of the amazing sites along the road was breathtaking. Watching the rain come in across the ocean like a sheet was truly a sight that will stay with me for a long time to come.

Alongside the Road to Hana are a bunch of vendors, and places where vendors used to set up shop like you can see in the photo below.

I still loved the rest of the trip as well, and I honestly think I’ll let the photos speak for the beautiful nature of Maui, so I’ll just stop here and share a few more pictures. One amazing trip behind me, hopefully more to come.
